Medical Biller
Our client, a well-known clinic in the greater Sacramento area is in need of a Medical Biller. Individuals would be responsible for answering incoming calls, searching for explanations of benefits, checking patients account for errors and calling patients to collect their portion of the bill.
Tasks:
- Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices; and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
- Review documents such as purchase orders, sales tickets, charge slips, or hospital records in order to compute fees and charges due
-Keep records of invoices and support documents
- Resolve discrepancies in accounting records
- Contact patients in order to obtain or relay account information
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 years of related experience in Medical Billing
