Multilingual PA/NP
Our client, a well-known clinic in the greater Sacramento area is in need of a Multilingual Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. They would be responsible for prescribing regimens and dispensing medication to patients. For this type of clinic, the best kind of candidate for this position would have a background with Family Practice, Cardiology or Internal Medicine experience.
Some daily duties include:
- Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition
- Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal
- Prescribe medication with physician approval
- Obtain, compile and record patient medical data including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination
- Perform medical procedures such as: injections, immunizations, and infection management
- Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed regimens, normal growth and development, family planning and health maintenance
- Provide physicians with assistance during surgery and complicated medical procedures
Requirements:
- MUST be multilingual in the following languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Toishan
- MUST HAVE approximately 1 years of experience working in the field
- MUST HAVE a current DEA licence
- MUST HAVE a current NPI number
- MUST HAVE a current CPR certification
