FISH Technician - DIRECT HIRE
Our client, a well-known CLIA-certified cytology, histology and molecular pathology laboratory, is actively seeking cytogenetic technicians and technologists. Our client is aggressively hiring and is seeking top talent in the industry. They have already increased headcount by 30-40% in 2009 and project similar growth into 2010 due to new diagnostic lines. We have successfully placed several candidates with this laboratory in the last six months.
The group is looking for diagnostic technicians who have industry experience using FISH (fluorescent in situ hybridization) techniques.
Job Description:
- Microscopically examines specimens utilizing fluorescent In Situ Hybridization (FISH) for detection of cancer
- Performs all related Quality Assurance documentation tasks
- Assumes the responsibility for supervision of staff performing technical preparations in the absence of a general supervisor
This position reports directly to Director of Cytology / FISH lab Manager.
