Certified Pharmacy Technician
Our client a global pharmacy benefit management corporation is currently looking for qualified candidates for pharmacy technician roles.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position works closely with Clinical Care pharmacists to provide accurate and appropriate information to participants and/or physicians as it relates to the dispensing of prescription medications. Delivers the highest quality customer service through the execution of responsiveness, reliability, assurance/confidence, empathy, and professionalism on every interaction in a fast paced pharmacy call center environment.
DUTIES:
Functions as primary resource in handling customer contacts via telephone or Internet ranging from routine to complex. Responsiveness, reliability, ability to express assurance/confidence, ability to express empathy, professionalism, PC skills in Windows-based applications, advanced verbal/written communication skill, team-oriented, customer service focus, ability to identify process improvements, self-directed, and practical application of knowledge and skills learned in training.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience in customer service environment is required. Call center experience is highly desired. Previous experience in healthcare industry a plus. Prior technician experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED required. Pharmacy Tech Certification (CPhT) required. Post High School, or specialized training, AA (field:Pharmacy Tech)is desired.
